The Hindus believed in the time cycle known as yugas. There are four yugas known as Satyug , Treta , Dwapar and Kalyug . The corresponding guiding scriptures for attaining self realisation in these yugas are Vedas , Smriti , Purans & Agams . When Lord Krishna, incarnation of Lord Vishnu, appeared in Dwapar is know as the Puranic Age
